Getting Here

Coming to Hualien has never been faster, easier and cheaper than it is now. Getting in and out in a weekend is easy! Trains are fast, cheap and accessible and there are now five daily flights from Taipei to Hualien! Costs for a train from Taipei to Hualien will run you about $15 USD each way and it takes between 2-3 hours to arrive in Hualien. There are over 10 trains daily so finding the right train is easy.

Transasia Airlines also runs 5 daily flights from downtown Taipei to Hualien airport, less than a 10 minute drive from the city centre. Flight time is less than an hour and will set you back about $100USD for a return flight.
